I think I speak in the name of many musicians when I say that most of these pointers are part of our daily routine as aspiring artists. The most prominent one being the number one (and from my point of view, the third, the fourth and the tenth). I’d like to know what you all think so please go ahead and let it out.

I would have to go for 5 and 6. Six is a real b**** I must say!
Ummmm… Isn’t #9 exactly what we’re supposed to be doing? IE Play the gig, entertain the people ? This anti-establishment attitude blows worse than the man.
Yes David i agree, If you take your music as a business and hope to make a decent living, its best to play music for the masses and try to alter it in such ways. But for many artists this isn’t an easy process. On the other hand, no job is supposed to be easy. But defending your music and your personal style does not necessarily mean you have an anti-establishment attitude, in most cases it just mean you are determined. And with everything going on nowadays internet wise, I believe many artists cling to the idea that they can get their music heard by thousands in just clicks, hoping that that will make it easier for them to build a fan base.
Thanks for the comments!
