I remember being kind of set aback by the fact that the production or whatever chose The Edge (U2’s guitarist) as one of the three featured rock legends to illustrate the history of the electric guitar, but the trailer reconciles me with the decision. He’s clearly not the most iconic guitarist out there, but he represents a pivoting point between the two others (Jack White and Jimmy Page) who belong to the realm of pure rock, and not of the flangy over-reverberised world of pop-rock :). Now, I’m sure this documentary will kick ass.
