- Bands create a profile on the Fanteraction website and upload their lyrics and biography (as well as song descriptions/anecdotes or whatever exclusive content they want to share with the audience).
- Before and during the gig, bands deliver a short unique Fanteraction URL to the audience (on the gig flyers/posters, printing it on the tickets or any other way they see fit) . People with iPhones and Blackberrys can connect to the URL and have access to the content the band uploaded to its Fanteraction profile. The system converts all the info in their profiles to be displayed nicely on these phones.
The pic below shows you how the content is translated from the the gig profile to the iPhone:
- During the gig, the bands can use the Fanteraction remote control. The remote control allows the person in charge to select the band/song currently playing in real-time during the gig to allow the audience to simply request “what band is playing right now?” and “what song is playing right now?” on their phones. Very useful for anyone arriving at the gig in the middle of one of the bands’ set. You can ask one of your friends to do this for you when you’re on stage.
