Just literally stumbled upon this website that caused me to spend 15 minutes doodling around with it (literally as in I used Stumble Upon to find this site). It’s called This Day in Music and it basically tells you what hits, from the UK, US and Australian charts, were No. 1 every single day between 1946 and 2009.

I’m trying not to see “Under Pressure” as a coincidence, and frankly I don’t know what the hell americans and aussies were thinking on Novermber 24th 1981:
Cool little tool that I’m sure our friend Robert, who writes our weekly “The Key To Music” posts, would have some fun with (although it’s a pity we have to refresh the page to compare chart results or even enter a new date). Wonder if there is any correlation between those hits and current events or something.
