LionsGate films is looking for songs for the soundtrack of their latest movie, Punisher War Zone (in theaters December). In collaboration with New! Discover Artists (an indie radio station where bands can submit songs in the hope of getting them aired), the production company has launched a contest, giving unsigned bands the opportunity to have one of their song featured in the movie and in the soundtrack. The grand prize winner will also get a juicy $5000 check for his efforts.
Deadline is the 29th of September. Very short notice, but it’s always worth a shot.
