Nothing worse then a drummer that cannot stay in place and just groove. I guess they get bored and feel like they have to fill in everywhere.

Putting up with guitarists… the gits always go off on one in practices an writing sessions… tis why i’ve reverted to writing on my own… if anyone here can honestly say they’ve been in a band where the guitarists (followed by drummer then bassist) hasn’t had a tendency to start playing things that have no relevance i’ll have a heart attack.

I would say it’s the musician that doesn’t practice before rehearsal. Yeah, yeah, the group rehearsal is practicing, but, sheesh, you got to come prepared! If it were a jazz band and we were improvising all the time, well, then that’s a different story…
